This broad collection initially began with the idea of juxtaposition that I began exploring during my architectural thesis. Juxtaposition is two things being placed close together with contrasting effect.
This multimedia collection exhibits my highly textural explorations using everything from found metal objects, sheet vinyl and credit cards and string.
Each piece in this collection is named for the idea I had in my head as I painted, as well as the ideas that the paintings evoke when viewing them.
Using everything from metal and wood to paper and plastic I find in junkyards, flea markets and mechanic shops, I assemble it together to make something new and interesting.
